Essence of Christmas

     Here we are again, the season that we've been all waiting for. The season where we feel the cold breeze, the season of peace and joy, and most especially, the season where we rejoice the birth of Christ the King. But what is the true spirit behind the celebration of Christmas?

     Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Christ. A time for us to understand the lessons from Jesus and reflect on them. Jesus brought a new religion based on love and the vision of a God who is full of compassion and forgiveness; a vision of doing everything with a positive mindset and from a place of love. Christmas isn't just about merry making, we need to put in mind that it's also about sparing some time with the love of God for humanity. As much as how God wanted for the people to embrace each and everyone, let us help and love each other, be a helping hand to those who are in need, to give comfort for the vulnerable ones.

     In today's generation, it's easy to lose sight of the true essence of Christmas. We must remember that our life is just a borrow from God. As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, let's be a real human, and be kind enough and remember to give love to the people around us, as for the eyes of God, we are all siblings and we are His children.
