Nutrition Month 2018











     "Ugaliing magtanim, sapat na nutrisyon, aanihin." This quote seems to be easy when being thinked of but in fact, in reality it's hard to do. But come to think of it, when we learn to remember the advantages of this activity, we can surely have the chance to have a healthier lifestyle since we will be inspired by the essence of it.



     But why do we exactly need to plant more? Is the supply of food's not yet enough? Are we not having enough nutrients in our body that's why we need to plant healthier food supplements? As we can see, this generation has a big difference compared to the past years. Their similarities are far way more different than before. Notice how the health of the people, mostly kids, are becoming worse because of the lack of attention given to what they are eating. We have been brought by the ideology of following on what's on trend. Mostly, modern families are likely to be concerned with different things, leading to lack of attention on health status. Instead of focusing on preparing food with proper nutrition, fast foods are more likely to be prevalent nowadays as it relies on unhealthy chemicals that are not good to our body. Take notice on the people who are not living in the city, but in the province, they are more likely to be healthy. See, not just because of the fresh air they breathe in, but also the food that they eat. They are the ones who plant their own fruits and vegetables which are safer to eat because they can assure that there are no chemicals added in it, only fine, natural, and not artificial fertilizers which makes food healthier and tastier.

     Just like what I've said in the first place, it's hard and needs more time and effort but a quote said that, "If you want want to achieve something, you do not conclude any excuses nor reasons to not to do it." It's better to do the right way, not tomorrow, not on the other day, but today. Not just for the sake of our current life, but also to be prepared in the future. Let's lend some time to do what's right to be able to achieve a healthier lifestyle and in order to possess nutrition that we need.
